Exercise: Add SalesOrderDetail Table to Sales Model


Steps:

  1. Drag the SalesOrderDetail table from the MDW Data Warehouse and drop it on the Tables node in the Semantic Model Sales
  2. Select the fields GrossLineTotal, OrderDate, OrderQty, ShipDate, SalesOrderID and UnitPrice and click OK button
  3. If you created the relations between tables in MDW as suggested, you will see the window Setup relations. Select one for each table to be used for the default relations and click OK button
  4. Check the relations on the SalesOrderDetail table.
