Creating a Development environment will allow the creation of a global database, and saving the environment meta-data in the project repository. For more detailed information, please see Configure Multiple Environments.

Steps:

1. Select Tools > Environment Properties
2. Click New Environment button
3. Type Development in the Name box and click OK
4. Click OK button to save the Environment Properties
