TimeXtender Classic makes it easy to apply blanket table naming conventions that apply to all the tables added from a single data source in order to more easily organize the large numbers of tables populating your Business Unit.

The following approach maintains the original table names, but groups all tables from a single data source into a separate database schema. Feel free to experiment with these settings to align with your desired naming convention.

Steps:

1. In your Business Unit, Expand Tables and notice the default naming convention.
2. Right-click on the new data source, AW
3. Click Data Source Settings.
4. In the General tab, select Don't Prefix Tables.
5. Click the Schema tab.
6. Click Add New Schema.
7. Give your schema the name [AW].
8. Click the Default schema dropdown and select AW.
9. Click OK.
   • TimeXtender will apply your settings and refresh the UI.
10. Expand the Tables node and notice how your tables names and schema have been adjusted.
