As the name suggest, semantic models are part of the semantic layer that "translates" data into forms usable by business users. For more detailed information, please see Building Semantic Models.

Steps:

1. Right click the Semantic Layer node in the Solution Explorer and select Add Semantic Model
2. Type Sales in the Name box and click OK button.
