Exercise: Sync Keys and Relations

The "Add Suggested Constraints" Automation wizard can easily synchronize primary keys and foreign key relationships from source data, provided your data source type contains this information. This helps enforce data integrity, maintains relational consistency across systems.

Steps:

  1. In your Business Unit, Right-click on the new data source, AW.
  2. Under the Automate option, Click Add Suggested Constraints.
  3. Primary Keys
    1. You can expand the tables to view the primary keys identified.
    1. Click Add All to select all the primary keys.
    2. Click next.
  4. Relations (Foreign Keys)
    1. You can expand the tables to view the foreign keys identified.
    2. Click Add All to select all the foreign keys.
    3. Click next.
  5. This final page allows you to Review the selections before applying them.
  6. Click Finish to apply your selections.
  7. Expand your tables in the Business Unit to view the newly added primary keys and relations.
