Exercise: Select Tables for ODX

The ODX Server allows you to select data source tables and fields that should be available for tasks to transfer to data storage. This means filtering out the tables, fields, and records that would never be useful in the ODX storage and data warehouses. For more detailed information, please see Data Selection and Filtering.

Steps:

  1. Right click AW Data Source > click Select Tables...
  2. Click the Search button
  3. Check the box in the header row to select all tables shown
  4. *Click Include (this may take a while)
  5. Click OK

*Note: Alternatively, you can click Include Matches to include all tables (this will also include new tables that may appear in the source at a future time)
